Established water ionizer manufacturers use transformers for stability and reliability. This helps the unit to readily withstand sudden power surges / drops. This is especially useful since a water ionizer deals with 2 variables such as electricity and water. Tests conducted using other alternative power types in the USA have found them unstable and especially vulnerable.
- 0.01M Filter
The yardstick of a filter is not the quantity of filters available, but the quality of its ability to filter and also the materials used. Our filters use the finest of natural carbon which blocks double the contaminants and further using silver coating, it traps bacteria effectively. Furthermore, with tourmaline stones placed in the filter, it helps to produce FIR (far infrared energy) that helps to oxygenate and activate normal tap water. Calcium that is added to the water also helps to remove smells and improves the water taste. Finally, using heavy duty 0.001M filter pores, it helps to ensure that bacteria, viruses and corpuscles are completely removed. These materials are different than what you would normally find in standard filters which rely heavily on silverised activated carbon.
Generally for Singapore, there is no real need for more than 1 filter, this is because our potable water source is very clean and increasing the number of filters means that running cost over time will increase as well. - Double Automatic Reverse Cleaning (DARC)
Our newer range of units such as the Alphion, Athena and Delphi have an automatic cleaning mechanism that will regularly remove the lime and mineral scale that builds up on the electrodes. With this DARC, maintenance of your water ionizer is now a breeze as the unit’s acidic water is immediately used to clean up the electrodes. This prolongs your unit’s lifespan to easily 15 – 20years.
